What LAMBR is, and is not.

LAMBR gives you a problem, records you thinking through it out loud for three minutes, and draws the path your reasoning took: where you branched, where you doubted, where you turned around, where you stopped.

It is a mirror, not a marker. There is no score, no rank and no percentile anywhere in it, and this is a design decision rather than an omission.

LAMBR is not an IQ test, a psychological assessment, a diagnosis or a medical device. It is not evidence of ability, and it must not be used to make a decision about somebody — hiring, admitting, assessing or otherwise.

The analysis is produced by a language model reading a transcript produced by another model. Both make mistakes: a word can be misheard and a move can be mislabelled. What you get is a reading of a recording, not a fact about your mind.

Signing in needs a working email address and nothing else. There is no password. Anyone who can open your email can open your account, so the mailbox is the thing worth protecting.

Keep the content yours: do not record other people without them knowing, and do not record anything you would not want transcribed, since a transcript is exactly what LAMBR makes.

You can delete everything at any time, from your account page. LAMBR may close an account that is being used to attack the service or to record other people without their knowledge.

Your recordings, your transcripts and your maps are yours. LAMBR does not claim ownership of them and does not use them to train models.

The one exception is the one you opt into: if you turn on research use for a session, that session may be included in research as described in the privacy notice. It is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off again.

LAMBR is provided as it is, with no warranty. It is early software: it can be unavailable, it can lose a session it failed to analyse, and it can be wrong about what you said.

Keep your own copy of anything that matters to you. To the extent the law allows, LAMBR is not liable for loss arising from using it, and nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be removed by agreement.

These terms and the privacy notice change when the software changes, in the same commit, so that they cannot drift apart from what the code does.

A change that alters what you agreed to about your own recordings is asked again rather than announced: the consent record stores which version of the wording you saw, precisely so that a later change cannot be applied backwards to a yes you already gave.
